Bucks County chapter of Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees
(PASR), has developed a community service project with Bucks
First Federal Credit Union and Family Service Association of
Bucks County to clothe and prepare needy children throughout
the county for the first day of school. Coming to school prepared
and in a new outfit will help each child’s self esteem.
The back to school season is often overlooked as a particularly
difficult time for struggling families.
PASR members have worked with children throughout their individual
careers in education and have the chance to continue their commitment.
Each year there is hope that this program will continue to grow by
helping more and more children.
Family Service Association of Bucks County provides this project
with a list identifying the needs of children which include ages,
gender, and clothing sizes.
You may make a monetary donation or sponsor a child by purchasing
needed school supplies. You may team up with friends or other family
members to purchase items needed for a child. Some suggested items
